Historical marker recognizes 19th Century Nashville brewery

A new historical marker was recently installed by Metro Nashville Public Works to recognize an early 19th Century brewery in Nashville. Brewery at Mill Creek was founded in 1815 by Arthur Redmond, a European brewer who immigrated to Nashville that same year. Redmond brewed porter and ale using grain purchased from local farmers.
