Goodwood Brewing opens inside former Ram building in Indy
The Ram may have left the building, but that doesn’t mean the building is gone. Thanks to the team at Goodwood Brewing Co., the old Ram Restaurant and Brewery in downtown Indianapolis has a new tenant.
The Louisville, Kentucky-based brewery has moved into the old Ram Restaurant and Brewery location along Illinois Street, bringing a whole new game to town. And that’s not all,
Goodwood Brewing is paying homage to Ram in several ways, including keeping the wooden barstools with rams cut out of them, bringing back its most popular beer and hiring several of its brewers.
And while the Ram Restaurant and Brewery didn’t make it through COVID, Goodwood believes its odds are pretty good.
