TailGate Brewery is taking airport beers to a whole new level. The Nashville-based independent craft brewery will soon be found at Terminal C at the Nashville airport.
“We’re so excited to welcome people to Nashville, and introduce them to TailGate right as they step off the plane,” said marketing manager Liz Tarry in a statement. “Conversely, we’re looking forward to recreating the taproom experience for our existing fans as they travel in and out.”
According to the post, the taproom is targeting a September 2021 opening date, but Tarry told The Tennessean the company is eyeing a tentative Sept. 1 opening date.
This would be TailGate’s fourth Nashville location. The brewery currently has spots in Headquarters in West Nashville, Music Row and East Nashville.
The craft beers and craft pizza that put TailGate on the map will be on the menu at BNA, TailGate said.
The food menu is still under wraps, according to a statement, but brand manager Ryan Bruchey said the brewery will offer a variety of favorite items from TailGate’s existing menus.
“We’re intentional about brewing the best beer in Tennessee, and we approach our food menu with the same quality in mind,” Bruchey said. “We knew we wanted our craft pizza to be part of the experience for guests atour Airport taproom, so we’re so excited to work with the folks at the Airport to bring that to life.”
The new Nashville airport takes shape:’It will be like you’re in an indoor stadium’
TailGate, known for its rotating beer list, half-off pizza on Wednesdays and local atmosphere, has gained quite a following in Nashville — and people on social media are excited about the new location.
“Wow! I’m getting to the airport like five hours early,” said one Facebook user.
“Not just a tap & bar setup but PIZZA too?!” said another.
Terminal C at BNA is also home to 400 Degrees Hot Chicken, Barista Parlor, Stage Café, Starbucks, Tootsies Orchid Lounge and Yazoo Brewing Company.
